40年前「わら一本の革命」を読み、正信の哲学に導かれるように自然農法への道を歩みだしたジェーン マックスさん。

オックスフォード大学を卒業後、アジア・オーストラリアで自然や植物本来の営みを生かした景観設計に造詣を深め、 1988年にイギリスに帰郷後もその研究を続ける。そして1999年、地産地消をテーマにしたマーマレード専門店 Wild&Fruitful を創業。 伝統的なレシピのみならず現代的・珍しいものまで創意工夫に満ちたマーマレード作りに定評があり、各種雑誌・メディア等でも特集され、注目を集めている。 現在、持続可能な食料都市ネットワークのカーライル支部の議長、カンブリア オーガニックガーデンナー・ファーマーの事務局長、 そしてダルメインで開催される世界マーマレードアワードの審査員を務めています。
Jane Maggs read "The One Straw Revolution" forty years ago and stepped on the way to natural farming.
She visited Masanobu Fukuoka Natural Farm and talked about her life.

After graduating from Oxford University, she deepened her knowledge of landscape design that made use of nature and plants in Asia and Australia.
She continued her research after returning to England in 1988. In 1999, she established Wild & Fruitful, a marmalade specialty store with the theme of local production for local consumption.
It has an established great reputation for making marmalades that are full of ingenuity, not only traditional recipes, but also modern and unusual.
It has been featured in various magazines and media, and has attracted attention.
Now she is currently Chair of Food Carlisle which is part of the Sustainable Food Cities network, Secretary of Cumbria Organic Gardeners and Farmers and a judge at the World Marmalade Festival at Dalemain.
